About Carecraft Support
Carecraft Support has recently been established by Thomas Bennett to provide truly bespoke care for individuals suffering from everything from mental health issues, complex needs to age related problems. Thomas has gained a thorough understanding and knowledge in supporting and caring for individuals with after having worked in the care industry within the Bracknell area. Thomas has demonstrated that taking a proactive and personalised approach to caring has helped individuals to access the community, increasing independent living in their own home and improving quality of life.
Aside from the tailored support plans, we understand how important it is for individuals with complex needs to have the time to build a bond and trust with their personal assistant, which is why we operate as a small and friendly care provider to enable continuity of care and the same familiar face, which many other providers just cannot do.
Having run popular social groups for individuals with complex needs, enabling people that often feel isolated by their conditions to meet new people and access fun and interesting activities. Not only did this boost the attendee’s confidence, but it also taught them about social skills, appropriate behaviour and how to maintain
positive relationships with those around them. This also helped most of the group to form long-term friendships, which enabled them to eventually access the community without supervision from myself.
As my customer base builds, I will be looking to start a new social group, where my customers can choose activities that they would like to do each week, allowing them to do the things they enjoy, whilst allowing them to build new friendships in the process.
